Intrax is actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and we continue to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and the U.S State Department.
Intrax is working directly with our participants, host companies, Department of State and our international partners to provide support.
Due to varying “shelter in place” orders throughout the US, and travel restrictions around the world, Intrax has decided to postpone all Summer 2020 start dates to June 1st.
While this is a rapidly evolving situation, Intrax will continue monitoring developments and will be guided by the most up-to-date expert information available. As always, the health, safety and security of American communities and of exchange visitors is paramount and we will keep partners and participants apprised of developments.

Intrax is actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and we continue to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and the U.S State Department.
Intrax is working directly with our participants, host employers, Department of State and our international partners to provide support.
Due to unprecedented flight cancellations and travel restrictions around the world, and in adherence to recent guidance provided by the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), Intrax Work Travel programs will be suspended for 60 days beginning March 13th. This suspension applies to participants who have not yet arrived to the U.S. Therefore, participants should not expect to travel to the U.S. prior to May 11th. This guidance includes the program grace period for travel prior to work start dates.
While this is a rapidly evolving situation, Intrax will continue monitoring developments and will be guided by the most up-to-date expert information available. Should participants be impacted by any further travel restrictions, Intrax will respond quickly in making necessary adjustments. As always, the health, safety and security of American communities and of exchange visitors is paramount.
